LEGO Robotics

Robotics and LEGO enthusiasts ages 8-10 will love building and programming their own LEGO robots! Campers will pair up and use cooperative teamwork skills to build a LEGO robot and program using an iPad and the LEGO Boost app. Throughout the week, campers will develop practical STEM skills, foster their creativity, and end the week by playing with their creations through challenges, races and mini competitions. In addition to acquiring mechanical engineering concepts, campers will also have the opportunity to participate in daily active outdoor play, and camp-style programming. Senior Camp Details

All campers should be dressed appropriately for an active Camp Program. Each camp day for all programs will include outdoor play. We recommend running shoes and comfortable clothing that can get dirty.

While each camp has a focus, camp-style games and programming will also be incorporated every day, including daily outdoor activities. Please send sunscreen, a hat and water bottle labelled with your camper’s name to camp each day.

Campers in all camp programs will have the opportunity to participate in recreational swimming 2–3 times per week. Campers should come prepared with a bathing suit and towel on their swim days (a schedule will be sent to registered families). Please note there is no alternative programming available during swim time.

Lunch and a healthy snack are included each day. Please refer to our Camp menu for details.

Robotics

Robotics camp provides a fun, hands-on STEM experience for campers ages 10-12 to learn about engineering, coding and electronics. Campers will use their imagination to program Sphero Bolt robots, learning practical STEM skills along the way. Friendly challenges and competition will also promote application of these skills and ignite creativity, teamwork and FUN! In addition to developing STEM skills, campers will also have the opportunity to engage in daily outdoor active play, as well as camp-style programming, such as games, arts and crafts and swimming several times each week.
