Mini Camps
The camp options on this page are designed to introduce our youngest campers, ages 4–5, to the particular program focus area listed. Please note that each camp day will also include outdoor play and camp-style activities, some associated with the program focus, and others aimed to engage imagination, creativity and active play appropriate for this age group. Recreational swimming will be offered twice during the week, and all programming is geared towards FUN and learning the basics!
All Mini programs will be offered in each of the 8 weeks of camp.

Mini Creators
Our mini arts-focused camp will give our youngest campers the opportunity to explore their creativity through different kinds of visual and creative arts! Programming in this camp will introduce campers to the basics of art and provide many different mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture and more. Campers will have structured time to work on their creations as well as time to explore their creativity on their own. This camp is open to all genders who are interested in being creative and getting messy! There will also be time each day devoted to camp-style games and active outdoor play, as well as recreational swimming a couple of times throughout the week. Register Now

Mini Explorers
Mini Explorers is designed for the camper who always asks “why”, it’s the perfect camp for curious young minds! Led by equally inquisitive staff, this camp will “explore” different topics and themes each day. From eco-exploring our beautiful 13-acre campus, to globe trotting around the world, and venturing to outer space, campers will engage in a wide variety of age-appropriate activities. Each day will explore a different area or topic, and be guided by BHDC’s theme of the week. Mini Medley
Does your Mini camper have a variety of interests? Mini Medley is designed for the camper who wants to try it all! The week consists of a little bit of each of our Mini Camps, including sports, arts, dance and STEM. Campers will have the opportunity to try age-appropriate activities in each of these areas, making the week a true medley! Mini Movers
This mini sports-inspired program is the perfect opportunity for active play for your 4 and 5 year old campers! Campers will engage in a variety of sports-related activities, camp-style games and outdoor play geared towards building their fundamental movement skills: running, throwing, catching, jumping, balancing, skipping and so much more. Mini Shakers
Calling all mini campers who enjoy grooving and shaking to music! This camp is designed for 4–5 year olds who will enjoy exploring a variety of movement forms in our gorgeous dance spaces. Campers will learn the foundations of various dance styles and also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of other indoor and outdoor activities. Performance-related arts and crafts will also give them the opportunity to express their creative spirits each day! Mini dance is all about fun and creative ways to get moving and will include daily opportunities for outdoor play and camp-style activities, as well as recreational swimming a couple of times per week. Mini STEM
Our Mini STEM camp will explore the worlds of science, tech, engineering and math, the perfect introduction to the basics of these disciplines for our youngest campers! Campers will have the opportunity to imagine, build, experiment, learn, play and explore through science-based lessons built around a hands-on, age-appropriate curriculum. The camp will focus on different activities with real world applications, and also include daily opportunities for outdoor play and camp-style activities, with recreational swimming a couple of times during the week. Preschool Swim Lessons
This two-week swim camp session is designed for campers ages 4–5 who would like to work towards the Lifesaving Society (LSS) Preschool swim levels. Campers will have one lesson in the morning and one lesson in the afternoon with an LSS-certified instructor, helping them to progress through skills with the aim of achieving a level by the end of the two-week session. When not in the water, campers will participate in fun, camp-style programming led by our exceptional camp staff!
